Location: Underway to Carriacou

I started the day with an early wake-up to watch the sunrise before heading into a delicious breakfast taco made by the cooking squad. The crew hoisted all the sails up, ready to leave Grenada to
go to our next island destination Carriacou. It was a bit rocky in the beginning, especially with the sails, because the foresail was a nuisance and not cooperating with us at all. However, we managed to make it all work in the end, leaving with a smile on our faces. The passage was a bit rough from the waves making the boat tilt, but chill compared to all the rough days we’ve had. Later on, we had quinoa bowls that led to our leadership class which was an amazing discussion between everyone. It was great learning more about others and their perspectives on our roles as leaders and who inspires us to become leaders. We ended the day with an English roasted dinner and the question would you rather go back in time or forward into the future. For me, I chose to go back in time to see and talk to the loved ones once more that have passed away recently in my life. Hey, family, I just wanna say I miss you all a lot and can’t wait to see you in a couple of months; love you all! <3
