Location: Green Island, Antigua
The main activity of the day was a Rescue Diver Class. It was enjoyable to watch everyone learn and practice the skills involved in simulated rescue scenarios. Part of the Rescue Diver Class involved the search and recovery of hidden objects, including weight belts, water bottles, and flip-flops. I opted to spend much of the day in the water scrubbing the hulls of Ocean Star and Near Enough. In the evening, we had Communications Class, and some shipmates presented their chapters and did an exceptionally good job. Sadly, this will be my last Skipper’s Log for Ocean Star as our voyage is drawing to a close.
