Location: Rodney Bay, St Lucia
Early departure from our mangrove Med moor to Rodney Bay marina. 12:00 provisions brought on board, fuel taken on and propane purchased. All hands back on board at 13:00. Re-anchored outside the lagoon and enjoyed a clear water swim and talent show to earn back stray items found adrift on deck. Dinner was a fantastic feast produced by Beaker. Her falafel, bean salad and couscous was among the best prepared in my tenure onboard, and the tropical fruit crumble and custard dessert demonstrated her galley proficiency and pride in craftswomanship. After dinner a discussion of tidal currents, plotting current vectors and leeway rounded off a stellar day.
