Location: Saba
Our first morning waking up in Saba began with nav master, lemon glaze explosions, and our view of the dramatic cliffs surrounding the island. After cleanup, we boarded Fin and Tonic (our dive boat for the day) and drove along the coast of Saba to our first dive spot. Once we all got into the water, we descended into an underwater coral canyon where we spent the next 30 minutes swimming in between, over, and under massive rock formations covered in colorful corals and curious fish. This was by far one of my favorite dives I have ever done. We then spent an hour soaking up the sun and preparing for our next dive, where we saw stingrays, turtles, and trunk fish. After the dive, we drove up the winding cliff road to Upper Saba, where we had lunch and walked around. We ended our day with oceanography, burgers, and rescue diving class. Tomorrow we are off to the BVIs! Cant wait!!!
