Location: Underway to Essuaria

Welcome back to the second installment of skipper Hatchs turn on ye ole bloginator. The time of the tone is 19:15, according to my very real 100 Dirham Rolex. Its been a pretty standard day underway for us, although more queasy than usual. Several of us were keeled over the lifelines last night, but since then, the sea state has calmed. My watch team started at 8 am with the sunrise. We lost a tub of yogurt this morning, which slid out of the minifridge and straight onto Elis and the floor courtesy of the sea state. Jesse tried to warn her, but all that came out was ELIS AUUHHH. Admittedly, I almost nuked the galley with a jar of salsa earlier. Our galley team today was Amy, Brendan, and Grace N. But, just before starting, you guessed it, we lost a substantial amount of vegetable oil, which made the galley even more treacherous than usual on top of the rocking and rolling.

Nevertheless, our galley team succeeded in cooking an amazing chickpea and green bean soup with rice and vegetables. We were going to have a Marine Bio class, but everyone was feeling extremely groggy, if not seasick. So, we just went back into watch teams while everyone else got some rest to beat the seasickness. Apparently, Mac caught a tuna while I was asleep, which I really would have liked to eat, but he was too small. Instead, the galley team whipped up some really good tacos for dinner. Have you ever taken a shower on a roller coaster? Probably not, and its not as fun as it sounds because youre standing on your head for half of it, and the other half is spent shoulder-checking the sink and door if youre not smart and shower on the toilet. Unfortunately, I think Im too salty to go to bed without one, though, so I wish you luck. Shoutout slash, I had a dream about you, and uhh yeah, see yall in another 31 days.
