At 0830, the group piled into the matching white Toyota minivans piloted by Zebra and Maxwell. We winded our way through the city of St. Georges and up into the rainforest, noting the destruction of Hurricane Ivan but impressed by the rebuilding effort. We reached the trailhead to the Seven Sisters waterfall at 1000 and embarked on the muddy 1/2 hour hike in fitting conditions (rain). We were muddy when we made it to the falls and were eager to wash the salt and mud from our bodies. Some chose to take a relaxing dip in the pools while others descended all seven falls, climaxing in a hero’s leap for the camera. We viewed historic Fort Fredrick on the drive home, had a delicious dinner, and are currently preparing for an evening ashore. Quite a day.
