Soooooo, today, we started off our morning with a lovely traditional breakfast of bacon and eggs from head chef Iain. Quite delectable, might I add. After that, we had an early dinghy ride over to the dock to get picked up for a day full of diving. Today was definitely a rainy one. Once we got to the dive shop, we headed out with the hopes of diving into a shipwreck and the notorious Blue Corner. Fortunately our shipwreck dreams came true, unfortunately our blue corner dreams did not, it was just a bit too rough which was sad, but we still had such a cool dive at Big Drop Off which put a smile right back on everyone’s faces pretty fast. After our first dive at Big Drop Off, we went to a bit of a sandbar to hang out for an hour or so before our next dive. The rain started to lighten up a bit, and the water was absolutely beautiful. We all hung out there for a bit, then headed off to German Channel for dive number 2, which was definitely my favorite. A couple of people saw a leopard shark, which was cool; I personally saw a big bait ball, three black-tip sharks, and a baby eagle ray, which was awesome. To finish off our dive day, we went to the shipwreck and saw tons of nudibranchs, which I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Fortunately, that last dive was right by our boat, and everyone was very cold after a long day of rain, so it was just a small hop over before everyone was able to shower and cozy up before dinner. For tonight’s meal, Iain made spring roll bowls, an Argo classic, which definitely hit the spot. It was super yummy and very much so appreciated. Now, everyone is just cleaning up and getting ready for our land tour tomorrow, which is super exciting. Overall, it was such a fun day here on Argo!
