Location: Nevis
Today was a day we did things. Really early this morning, around 1:00 am, we finally made it to Nevis and anchored. Then we had cereal for breakfast and spent most of the day deep cleaning the entire boat until lunch. I spent most of that time deep cleaning and organizing the kitchen. It was very hot. Then, after lunch, I went to town to go grocery shopping with Aidan, mainly because I was skipper today and had nothing else to do. The store was cool, and we had to get boxes to carry everything out because we had left the bags on the boat. That was fun. Then I had some shore time, and I met up with the rest of the group, who had been chilling at the hot springs. I heard that the hot springs were, in fact, too hot to chill, though. Then I got some street food and cold drinks. And the lady at the stall asked me if I had any family in the Caribbean, and after being asked this on what seems like every island we have been to, I of course texted my mom just to check. And long story short, we arent 100% sure. Thats fun. Tomorrow we will ride horses and bikes and have fun at Carnaval.
