Location: underway

We put up the mainsail this morning with three reefs in it because the wind was coming out of the north at about 25-35 knots. The swells were about ten feet on average, and we did see at least one bigger one during a tack that almost put our friend Brittany in the drink. After a very informative oceanography class about the various layers of the earth, we got a free afternoon. PSCT class was postponed so that we could keep an eye on our conditions and see how the mainsail was faring. So far it looks like the Red Sea packs more of a punch than the Indian Ocean, which is all well and good, but it appears as though we may arrive in Port Ghalib a little later than expected. Thanks for reading, and have a nice day.andlt;br /andgt;andlt;br /andgt;andlt;brandgt;andlt;/brandgt;andlt;
