Today we had our MTE final exam!! The Navigation Master portion of it took all morning, as there was limited space for the chart work. After lunch, we had the practical part of our International Crew Certificate, which turned out to be a fun afternoon of racing and exploring on some rented Hobies off of one of the beaches in Virgin Gorda. While some were taking their turn on the boats, the rest of the group was enjoying some free food, local singing, and swapping stories while swimming, lounging, and tumbling on the sunny beach. After dinner, we had the VHF radio test. It was a busy day, but the combo of our practical sailing test with the beach made it all worth while!
