Location: Grenada
The crew of Ocean Star woke up a bit early today in order to be ashore and ready at 8 am for a trip into the interior of Grenada. A local named Zebra provided transport up into the lush rainforest by way of St. George. The crew hiked into the bush with a local rasta guide named Clifton, who was more than enthusiastic to share his beautiful waterfall with us. After a swim in the refreshing water, the crew loaded up with Zebra for a little sightseeing and then a return to Ocean Star. The night ended with a chemical Oceanography class, and then the crew headed down to finish an assignment that is due at 0800 sharp tomorrow. Excellent day. Life is good aboard Ocean Star.
