Today was a day that felt less eventful than other days, but nonetheless more fun. The morning started with a division into two groups; one group would stay back on the boat and take two oceanography quizzes, our competent crew exam, as well as our rescue dive certification test. While one group was taking the quizzes and tests, the other group dingied over to a boat occupied by ActionQuest, the younger aged experience offered by GXG which did similar activities as Seamester, but catered t a younger audience. Once on this boat, we got into dive gear, which we had brought with us, and dove down below to about 40 ft, where we explored a very cool, very large sunken shipwreck. Once the dive group was back, the groups switched activities, and that was the first half of the day. In the second half of the day, we moved the boat to a new anchorage right off the coast of Treasure Island and presented our group projects to the gathered crew and fellow students. After that, we had a wonderful dinner, talked about fever dream media/nostalgia for our squeeze questions, and turned in for the night.
