Location: Sandy Cay
We awoke to a calm, almost glassy sea and a gray, overcast sky, not exactly what we were wishing for during our last sail. Before we prepared the boat, we decided to go for one last dive in Great Harbor Peter, and it was great. Around 10 a.m., we raised the sails and left the mooring under sail. We headed out into the Drake channel without the assistance of the engine. As we left the harbor, the skies cleared, and the wind picked up. What started as a disappointing morning turned out to be a great broad reach. We anchored just off Sandy Cay and played ultimate frisbee on the beach. We ended up eating fresh coconut, sitting in the sand, and watching the sunset over the blue Caribbean sea.
