If you didn’t already get it from my long list, the main characteristic of this trip is learning. Not sure on everyone else’s opinion, however, it is my favorite part of this experience. I seek out knowledge and new experiences, which happens to be why I am here.

In an attempt for all of the parents reading this to hear their kids’ voices if they haven’t recently, I have asked everyone something that they learned today as well.

Francesca: “It doesn’t matter how prepared you are, you still might not get registered for the classes you need”
Emma: “One-eyed dogs are very friendly”
Hayden: “I learned about sea urchin research in Saba because a lot of them died off in the 80s”
Noah: “I was tying the jack lines wrong the entire trip”
Erik: “A derivative is the slope”
Eva: “I learned how to make beads”
Eilidh: “Noah thought the UK was one country”
Aoife: “I do not like climbing stairs that much”
Alyssa: “How to untangle a mooring ball”
Chloe: “I learned that the cafe called Bizzy B has great baguettes”
Mohammed: “My backpack is water resistant”
Macklyn: “I am really good at glass making”
Lizzie: “I learned today that hitchhiking is a big part of Saba and not all flying things in the sky are airplanes; sometimes they’re satellites”
