Location: Underway to Christmas Island

Day 2(?) at sea. I can no longer keep track. A Consistent 15 knots of moderate breeze and slight sea state wither our bodies and spirits like rust to a nail. After 11:30 am wakeups and head chef Ainsleys lunch, we struggle to stay awake for our marine bio lecture and leadership seminar. A quiz for PSCT students Ava, Bodhi, and Meg followed. For the rest of us, work and watch as usual. For Squeeze this day, we shared tales of what cool objects weve found and finished by singing Row Row Row your Boat in verse.

The search for our rat, Clayson, continues with no new leads. Assassin prodigy Tomer is still out there. At his hand, Cadets drop dead as effortlessly as the falling leaves back home. Time is a fickle thing here. Watch flows into sleep, meals, and homework, which leads back into the watch. As we continue to get into the routine of passage, chapter 2 takes its toll on us all. In seriousness, while we are all very sleepy from watch (812 pm last night for watch team 1), things are quite good. A new and wonderful quiet background, Argo, because the conditions have allowed us to shut off the engine and travel solely by sail. We are laughing often, having and incredible time, and feeling lucky to be here. We are just starting to have free time and are getting more and more comfortable with the jobs and handling sails. helming and boat checks are especially nice now that we are truly sailing. We cant see land anymore, and the sea is very beautiful, especially at night, when the ship leaves a trail of sparkling bioluminescent that mirrors and rivals the Milky Way above. Today, watch team 1 filled the time with a storytelling theatre. Phillip played the dragon princess, Kiley played the dragon king, Meg played the fisherman, Ainsley played various characters, I played the turtle, and Gabe narrated. Hannah and Ava continue to fill the air with their heartiest of chortles.

Bodhi tried to hold on to a shelf to brace for a big swell, but it turned out to be a drawer, so he took a tumble over the table, sending a full stack of flashcards flying in the process. Travis people watched in the salon. Drazca, Philip, and I ate Korean pears and star fruit at midships. Ali let me try closing her Apple Pencil (sensational). We are sailing a course plotted by Amanda M. Tentatively yours, Skipper C Biscuit P.S. For those who dont know. Assassin is a game Juliette started where each person has to Kill their given target by getting them to accept a specific item in a specific place. Tomer is way too good, although being captain does have its advantages.
