Location: Sandy Island
For the first time in my college career, I was up at 5:45, and I did not care. Once we pulled the anchor up, we were on our way from Prickly Bay to Sandy Island. The passage gave us about eight hours on the water and some much-needed sailing experience. Everyone was given a chance to take the helm and control the close to one-hundred-foot boat. After our arrival, we went for a swim and then began to prepare for Caitlin’s birthday dinner. After today, I am certain that fun-fetti cake is a perfect way to end the day.
