Location: Mayreau, Grenadines
After breakfast, our crew was delighted to discover the small island of Mayreau in the Grenadines and its unique charms. After checking out various parts of this distinctively beautiful island, we had some lunch. Following lunch, Andy and Tim of Dive Canouan brought us dive tanks, which we used to explore the wreck of the Puruni, a scuttled World War one vessel. The marine life growing on the broken vessel was really sweet. After our adventurous wreck dive, we came home to an artery-clogging dinner of macaroni and cheese. Before nightfall, we moved around the point to escape being surrounded by three sailing cruise ships and their “pirate games” muppetry.
