Location: Little Italy (Sardinia)

Hello from a beautiful little anchorage in Italy, the day started at 7 am per usual wake-ups, after eating blue and pink pancakes prepared by our chefs Meg, Derrick, and Emory, that most of us drowned in Nutella, we were all ready to start our day! After cleaning up, we moved to a nearby anchorage that was just as stunning. Brig and I spent the motor talking about how crazy it is that we are leaving in a few days and that we might even miss head showers and bugs in our rice. After dropping anchor, everyone took their VHF tests and then we met up on deck for a surprise a jumping contest with Zac and Nicole as our judges. We started with the biggest splash, where Derrick and Harrison had pretty big splashes, but I ended up taking the win. Next, we did a backflip contest, which Emory won with her clean flip off the bow sprit. We also did a duos category (Piper and Rina won) and a smallest splash competition. After sitting out in the sun, we had bean burritos for lunch and shuttled over to the land to hike up to Bear Rock.

What seemed to be an old dock with a rusty ladder turned out to be connected to a fancy hotel resort that we took an accidental tour of on our way to the main road (but found our way up to the rock eventually). The view was quite gorgeous, although some of us couldnt make out the bear shape in the rock. We made our way back down to a small cafe where we all bought either Italian ice, ice cream, or both. We walked back down to the new pickup spot (another resort), but a man led us the way to the public beach. Lilly, Ryan, Nicole, Piper, Carlo, Gabe, Sam, Brig, and I all took a dip in the crystal clear water while the other got picked up on a super fancy dock. Then this super duper nice gentleman, Fabio, came up to us, and he was so kind, and he just really wanted to help us find our way off of the fancy dock as soon as possible. When we got back home to Argo, we oceangoing showered and sent some tricks off the bow sprit. Megan did a dive, Sam and Zac did gainers, and Zac, Sam, and I all attempted superman death dives. It went better for some of us than others. After getting squeaky clean, we got ready for a fried chicken dinner with coleslaw!!! It was so yummy. Now everyone is either cleaning up or writing cards but we will all muster in the cockpit for my mandatory game of hide n seek as my end to the skipper question. Thanks for tuning in to another day. Goodnight!
