Today was her last day in Saint Helena. The day started out with late wake-ups at 8 AM, listening to Jimmy Buffett. After we enjoyed a great breakfast of bread swirls made by Erin, we awaited the arrival of the fuel barge, which went through. It took two barges full of fuel, and we were all set to get out of St. Helena. Just before we were about to raise the anchor, we discovered a can of paint that had spilled at the bottom of the bilge. Delaying our departure, we took everything out of the bilge and cleaned off all of the paint on deck. After all of that was dealt with, we were finally ready to say goodbye to Saint Helena. After we raised anchor, we immediately sent out 2 fishing lines in hopes of catching some tuna for dinner, but unfortunately, we were unlucky. After enjoying dinner with a nice sunset over the ocean, we all went to our clean-up jobs before breaking in to watch teams and getting back in the routine of passage.
