Location: UW to Fernando
Another day, another bent fishing hook. I dont know what it is, but the fishing gods have been against us. Camilla picked up some new fishing lures in St. Helena, and they seemed like they would do the trick but apparently some of the fish weve been hooking have been so strong, they bend the hook until theyre free! Its been quite frustrating, but also really cool to see some big marlin hit our lures and jump clear out of the water.
We finished off the last of the big tuna we caught in St. Helena, so maybe now, with the freezer empty of fish, well have some better luck.
The passage has been good, lots of projects and fishing, but weve definitely been longing for some wind! Fernando is close so close we can practically smell the fresh fruit!
