My name is Matt, and I was our skipper today. This morning we were all woken for lunch, which was paninis! They were made by the head chef of the day, Ophelia. Today we also continued with wave two of Nav Master chart exams; others also took their knot and deck tests, which consist of knowing 14 distinct knots, bends, and lashings as well as knowing what every line on the boat does. Later in the afternoon, we had a bite on the fishing line and got a little yellowfin tuna all the way to the side of the boat. Unfortunately, the hook fell out as we were pulling it on deck. For dinner tonight, we had burrito bowls, which were absolutely scrumptious. Overall, today was a spectacular day, hallmarked with education and the excitement of hearing the rattle of the fishing line!
