Location: British Virgin Islands
Goooooood evening, dear readers at home!
What a lovely day we had today – it started bright and early at 6 am, pulling up anchor to head up to Gorda Sound. After a lovely sail over, we anchored on the northern tip of Virgin Gorda. We then had some class, and Eva and Erik hopped in the water to do some DiveMaster and Open Water skills. Congratulations to Erik, our newest Open Water Diver!
We then got everyone else in the water to do some rescue course exercises. Specifically, we did a search and recovery scenario, learning search patterns under the water. After a few hours of diving, we took some quick showers and had some seamanship class before a DELISH dinner of enchiladas made by Eva. Seriously so yum.
Now, I bet everyone is wondering why the title of this blog is trash bags. That is because, as you will see in the photos below, trash bags were a choice of clothing chosen tonight. Why, you ask? Well, as we headed over to a lovely location known as Saba Rock, everyone was dressed their best and didn’t want to get their clothing wet on the long dinghy rides. Hence, trash bags were worn over their clothes. Of course!
A lovely day was had and a lovely day will be had tomorrow!
I miss you all at home dearly and can’t wait to see you!
