Location: Terre en Haute, Les Saintes

Today, as usual, on a long haul trip, we were sailing south towards Grenada in our assigned watch teams, and for the first time during the semester, we encountered constant rain for several hours. Since the weather was not in our favor, especially since the wind was coming inconveniently from the south, we changed our plans. Instead of having to motor our way down to Grenada, we decided to stop at the French Islands called Les Saintes. Here, we anchored. We had free time to work on our first marine biology essay and then ate dinner. This evening, we will have our first SLD (Student Leadership Development) class. Tomorrow, we look forward to seeing what Les Saintes has to offer!
