Location: Porto Potales, Mallorca, Spain
Today, we awoke to a breakfast cooked by our Kiwi, Sam. We had an English breakfast of eggs, bacon, and seasoned tomatoes. After breakfast and clean up, we had an Oceanography class. After class, the procrastinators (including me) worked on their papers, which are due tomorrow morning. For lunch, we had various salads: Waldorf, potato, and green salad. Following lunch, we had a free afternoon onshore. Most of us restocked our candy and junk food supply at the supermarket. As we were coming back to the boat, we were all caught in a torrential downpour, everyone was soaked, but it was okay because most of us needed to shower anyways. After dinner, we all learned some basic navigation and chart skills. Tomorrow, we are all looking forward to another day in Porto Portales and the open water group’s second dive. We are all very proud of Erika for completing her confined dive and skills.
