Location: Road Town

It always seems like the days go faster and faster. We get to the end, and the students are running the boat; everything is going smoothly, the sails take less time to go up, there are fewer questions to Amandager about food, and the students are leading the charge on the dinghies/anchor getting into the water. We decided that our final island hop would be a pleasant sail, so Elling took charge on the helm, Q ran the anchor squad, and Aidan and Kacy led the sail raises. Once the sails were up, we glided down the Sir Francis Drake Channel, jibing occasionally to avoid the islands and a ferry here or there. We made our way past Peter Island, past Road Town, and past Frenchman’s Cay. We sailed right into Soper’s Hole, where Q took the helm and put the boat onto anchor one final time. Once here, the shower back flip ritual hit full swing. Toby finally accomplished his 40-day backflip goal. After showers and some card writing time, we shuttled everyone into shore to explore West End and eat some pizzas.
