People are already counting down the days until Thanksgiving, and the entire menu is planned, with each person playing a role in dish preparation. The menu looks like this: Canned turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, biscuits, peach cobbler, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Not bad for the mid-Atlantic, right? Currently, we are cleaning up after dinner and making 7.0 kts motoring nearly due west. The log reads 4619 nautical miles for the whole trip so far, which means we have 1100 miles to go until we reach Dominica. Everyone is so excited to arrive in the Caribbean. We are all living vicariously through our own imaginations about what we will do when we get to Dominica and after the trip is over.
