Today was one of my favorite kinds of days. We did nothing but SCUBA dive. We do a fair amount of scuba diving on this trip and I love every minute of it. This morning we were split into two groups. One group went diving with Kris to collect sediment samples for a former employee of Sea|mester working on her PHD, while the others dove with their research group to collect data. Collecting sediment samples was a pretty good time, aside from accidentally grabbing a sea urchin instead of the sand. I don’t know how I managed to do that. It was very well concealed. Diving with my research group was a blast too. We collected all kinds of data regarding coral in the area. Even when we have to do schoolwork under the water, taking the plunge is just as exhilarating every time I do it.
