Location: English Harbour, Antigua

We awoke to another beautiful day in English Harbor and had delicious homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then, we had MTE class and learned how to take a running fix on the chart. Afterward, we had the rest of the day to our choosing. Allison, Gio, and I went to the Falmouth Marina Cafe and had chocolate croissants and coffee. Then we walked to Pigeon Beach and enjoyed the sun and cool water. After a couple of hours, I separated from them and Skyped (called) my family. They left a half-hour later and took the trail back to the boat. After meeting up with my shipmates around 4:30, we took the dinghy across the bay and hiked up to Shirley Heights for dinner. The view was gorgeous, and we could see both English and Falmouth harbors. We had cheeseburgers or BBQ chicken, which was delicious. Sadly, I managed to spill my salad and potato salad, which everyone had raved about, on the ground. Then, the band switched from steel drums to reggae and rock, and we spent the rest of the night dancing. It was a lot of fun, and the band was really good.
