Hello to all, I am Oscar, and I will be writing this blog today.
Today, after an adventurous day in Barcelona, we had more of a relaxed day, but we still had things to keep us occupied. After breakfast, we were allowed to go into the town. The majority of people, including myself, would go into town to do laundry and eat at some cafes. Of course, not everyone went; some staff and kids would stay back and work on things for classes and work. After everyone was back and done with lunch, we were divided into two separate groups. One group was to get the ship ready for departure for our voyage to Mallorca the following day. The other was watching rescue videos since they were already certified. as one of the people preping the ship for leave, i was tasked with getting water out of the forward bilge. Once people finished their work, we had a little time to rest, some used to study or sleep before the next class, which was oceanography. The class went well, every class i keep learning something new which makes it more enjoyable and makes me wonder what else I will learn. After the class, we had more time to relax and study for the upcoming test at the end of the day. The dinner was amazing since every day is a new dish to be made, once dinner was over we cleaned up before our seamanship quiz was very nerve racking to take. But even after that, the day has been a nice day, which is great since it is always nice to have a slow day.
