Location: Tarragona, Spain

Blasting Fetty Wap this morning, I was met with many groans and annoyed looks. While I was doing this, Cam and Matt went for a run, the first time being able to do so. I was also met with Alexa carrying out her strat of waking up early to get the first bathroom. This strat did indeed work as everyone else was stuck in line for at least 10 minutes waiting for a bathroom to open up. Breakfast was overnight oats dutifully made by Chloe the night before. The 5-minute walk to the train station was filled with conversations about being excited to be in Barcelona, as well as to spend lots of money, much to the begrudging of most parents (myself included). The first stop along the way was a Maritime Museum, which everyone else and I thoroughly enjoyed. Shane, Matt, and I built Barcelona in 20 minutes, much to our amusement. Once we left the museum, we all went to find a good lunch and enjoy our afternoon in this beautiful city. A group of us, Alexa, Matt, Teagan, Cameron, Bryson, O, Samatha, and I had lunch with our wonderful staff, Charlie, Shane, and Rachel. Another group: Chloe, Ben, Lucca, Emily, Sabrina, Sam, Thatcher, and Maria took the gondola to the top of the mountain where the Church, La Sagrada Familia, sits. As we walked to the Basilica, Matt made us stop at every single gelato shop. I had eight servings. We then kept walking and made it to the basilica, which was awesome, WOW! Later, we made the hour-long trek back to the train station. O and I had a great talk on the way back. On the train ride back, there was no AC, multiple stops, and phones dying. Many naps were had. Everyone is so excited for Mallorca in the upcoming days.

P.S. Much love and thanks to Meg, Aidan, and Nacho for provisioning for the next 12 days and buying out the tiny supermarket.

P.P.S I miss and love my family, talk soon!!
