The day began with “Mike”, and ageing scuba cowboy pulling his boat alongside and shuttling us off to dive some of the most spectacular sites in all of the Caribbean. Our numerous encounters with marine life culminated with a shark sighting, which was later followed by French fries and Coca-cola. After lunch we enjoyed one of our last oceanography classes and the studying began, as our version of finals week is quickly approaching. Still throughout the afternoon there was time to take a few runs on the windsurfer and practice our synchronized swimming during study breaks. This evening the crew will take an oceanography exam and then retire, looking forward to scaling the mountain whose shadow we have been in for the last couple of days.
