Day 37 on Ocean Star already,
The days are flying by. We started the day diving below the Pitons with our deepest dive yet. The dive site was absolutely amazing. Half of the group went with a guide searching and hunting for the invasive lionfish species, while the other group did a deep sea dive reaching up to 80 feet. On our way to the dive site, we got a tropical rainstorm. I have never seen so much rainfall in such a short time. After this little nature shower, we had an oceanography review session for our upcoming midterm and then a quiz. Hopefully, everybody passed! Next was a seamanship class. Today was also a very special day. It was Drew’s birthday! We finished the day with a great dinner and ate some lionfish.
