Location: Trellis Bay, BVI

Today, we dove into an airplane wreck and made a final stop at the port before leaving for St. Kitts. Waking up at 6:45 to raise anchor, we enjoyed delicious pancakes on a short motor from Gorda Sound to Great Dog before arriving at our dive site. Everyone got to dive into an airplane wreck, and our Open Water divers also finished their last certification dive. Raising anchor for the second time, we traveled to Trellis Bay – from there, our Captain Tor went to clear us out of customs; Carolyn, Kaitlin, and Aaron went provisioning for our food for the next week, and the rest of us got to explore what the area had to offer. As soon as we stepped foot back on the boat, we started passage prep for our 120-mile passage ahead. After a dinner of fish tacos, we split up into watch teams, learned how to do a boat check, and then lifted an anchor and raised the sails as we finally began our passage for Saint Kitts. Today was a good day.
