Location: Annapolis, MD
This morning began promptly at 6 AM to raise anchor from our brief overnight stop in the Potomac River. We continued navigating our way through the Chesapeake until we reached Annapolis around 3 PM, during which we saw a pod of around 30 dolphins! We spent much of our afternoon getting the boat put away from our passage and ready for some time near shore. From our nice little anchor spot, we had about as front row of a seat as you can get for the local yacht club’s Saturday regatta with a great view of the US Naval Academy as well. We wrapped up our evening with a movie night, watching Emperor’s New Groove and a big old bowl of popcorn as a way to wind down after our first real day without being on passage anymore.
