This morning, I started out with a very beautiful 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. watch. Thankfully, the sky didn’t dump on us. After watch team two’s four to eight, I took a glorious nap until about eleven thirty. Awaiting my arrival on deck was a delicious pasta salad prepared by our wonderful chef staff, Elanore, Kylie, and Lainey.
After lunch, we had Marine Bio with Anna, where the ocean saved us students from having to take a fish I.D. quiz by corrupting the hard drive (Thanks, Ocean). After Marine Bio, I took my usual ten- to fifteen-minute nap between classes before leadership with Tomer. During leadership, we had an auction where we bid on different character qualities, and I learned that I make bad financial decisions.
After class, watch team two had the two to six pm watch, where we listened to EDM and tried to figure out which direction a massive cargo ship was heading. Our pollywogs on board also had a message delivered to their mailboxes with some crucial information about tomorrow’s equator crossing. Dinner today was a delicious meat pie of sorts with ground beef, mashed potatoes, and corn, which I enjoyed thoroughly. During dinner clean up, we had a beautiful sunset and a double rainbow.
