Location: Underway to Raja Ampat

The day started for my watch team and myself at 4 AM this morning. We saw the sunrise behind the clouds, some dolphins, and a rainbow announcing the rain. For lunch, Spencer and his sous chefs made a deconstructed chicken pot pie, and we sang happy birthday to Olivia, who is turning 19 today. After the cleanup, we had class down below. In oceanography, Steph talked about currents and what can affect them. Gabe followed with the first class of navigation master. The class was interrupted by the loud draining of the bilges. After class, I was on watch again, and we listened to some music in the rain. We had to serve dinner, pizza bagels!, inside, but we ate in the cockpit all together. The oven is not working, so instead of making a cake, Olivia got a brownie pudding.
The day might not have been the best; we are all wet and tired, but we are so excited to pass the equator again, to arrive in Indonesia, to swim and dive, and to have an ocean shower!
