Location: Underway to Grenada
Today is Day 3 of our passage! We are still underway to Grenada, and the spirits are high. My watch group, watch group 1, started the morning bright and early with a 6 am-9 am watch shift. Enjoying some tunes and the beautiful views made the watch fly by. With some better wind and weather conditions today, we got to hoist a few more sails. After the 9 am watch, many of us quickly scrambled back to our bunks for some sleep while the other watch teams took over. At noon, we enjoyed some breakfast for lunch! Kebo cheffed up some eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and veggie sausages. After lunch, some of us enjoyed some music above deck while others studied and completed some homework. Later on, we enjoyed a dinner of tomato soup and grilled cheese. A sparrow came to join us for dinner and even landed on Ryans’ ballcap! We are all preparing for another night underway. While we are feeling pretty tired, we can’t wait to see all that Grenada has in store for us. Sorry for the short blog, but I think it is time for me to get back in the bunk before night watch.
