Location: Passage to Grenada
Twenty-four hours into our passage to Grenada with only minimal seasickness so far.
My watch team started our day at 6:00 with a breakfast of champions: coffee, cheerios, Pringles, and Planters peanuts.
We are learning that meals underway tend to be more of an Olympic sport than anything else.
KT treated us by chefing up some epic avocado toast her way because is there really any other way to do it.
Watch teams are 3 hours on watch with 6 hours off. Many of us have passed hours on watch looking out for lighting storms, passing ships, and doing boat checks. While others solved each other’s riddles, listened to music, and named seabirds during sunset. We stopped to look out for the infamous green flash as the sun was setting. Some say they saw it; others missed out. Time off has been taken full advantage of, whether it’s to get school work done or by catching up on some much-needed sleep while snacking on some more Pringles.
Being underway has so much fun, but everyone is excited to jump back into the water and do some more exploring on Grenada in a few days.
