This morning, we were gifted we an extra 30 minutes of sleep, which I think was much needed based on how hard it was to wake everyone up at 7:30 this morning. When I went into Saloon, Sienna was already there making pancakes for breakfast this morning. Before breakfast, we put the boat to bed after our 5-day passage. Right after breakfast and cleanup, we met in the cockpit to assign jobs for BA (boat appreciation). I started out by cleaning my bunk, and I also used this time to organize my crossing snacks and was able to condense from four bags to 3. In the middle of this process, we were interrupted to get dinged over to the dock for customs. The dinghy rides were a nice break from cleaning, even though we got a little wet.

We did a little more cleaning before lunch with Asian chicken bowls. After lunch, some of us picked up anchor while others did their cleanup jobs. Since I was skipper, I was on the anchor team and had the job of flaking the anchor chain, which I now know is a dirty job. We then motored to a different anchorage while we finished up ba. The motor was only a few hours, so we anchored and ate dinner while the sun was setting. After dinner and cleanup, we had ocean showers for the first time in a while because we hadnt been on anchor in so long. Some of us were more excited than others as it was so cold and winding that the sun was gone. To our surprise, the water was actually really nice and we had a fun time showering and listening to music. Before leadership class, we had a revival of the calli salon, if you remember it from my last blog. During leadership, Daisy and McGee did their presentation on organizations, and then we went straight to bed to prepare for an earlier wake-up for our hike tomorrow.
