The crew was really on the ball today. We arrived at the Charleston pier early for our 8:30 departure to Barb’s lab. Barb’s lab was pretty fantastic, filled with baby turtles and oen very cute little puffer fish. We learned all about invertebrates and just how they survive with no spine. After Barb’s lab, we all had the chance to do as we pleased. Some chose to go down to use phones/internet, and some of us decided to go to lunch at Chevy’s restaurant and chill to reggae and ocean front views. We all returned to Ocean Star ready for a chemical oceanography class and an infamous dinner of tortilla soup in fond memory of Kevin, a hippie from Boulder. We’ve got an MTE class to finish up another day, too good to be true.
