After a rough and slow passage from the BVIs, we arrived in Nevis at 4am. Watch teams 1 and 3 striked the sails and dropped anchor in the dark, and then we all went to bed for a well-deserved rest. We woke up a few hours later to enjoy Lisette’s muffin and eggs, after which we set out to show Ocean Star our appreciation and clean the dirt of passage off her. After a morning of re-organizing and scrubbing, we enjoyed showers and lunch, after which we had our first scheduling meeting of the semester. Once the schedule for the next week was complete, we had time to go to shore, explore Charleston and get in touch with family and friends. After dinner we had a communications class.
