It was our last day before our main passage across the Atlantic today. It began with the stickiest dishes our salty teams have ever crossed paths with. Though the breakfast of caramel buns was enjoyed well, they have been permanently banned from the cooking list because of the mess they created. Immediately following the Argo vs. Sticky bun, hearing the crew made a mad dash for the city to feed our inner hedonists. Our last day on land, for at the very least 14 days, was appropriately filled with spirits and streetwalkers running around like bears with no place to go. Sans the spirits. And the streetwalkers. In reality, all of the crew made for their last internet, quality coffee, and “face time” with their beloved. I know I spent about three and a half hours sorting out emails, pictures, and videos for mine. Our night was then enriched by a meet-up with a Canadian school ship. We were suddenly very aware of how lucky we were to be barefoot and have snacks any time we desired. Their schooner was old and beautiful, but Argo was definitely the boat for me. Finally, the crew spent their last night bowling, clubbing, and enjoying the last alone time they would have for weeks. I know I am more excited than I can try to describe. I hope everyone back home takes care and is prepared for some amazing stories. Much love to you all, and I will be seeing your beautiful faces sooner than you realize. Take Care, Theodore
