Location: Admiralty Bay, Bequia
Another day in our journey started with class time. We assembled on deck for a marine biology class in which we were enlightened on Diving Tourism and its effect on the native reefs. Following that, we had another class devoted to currents and understanding how they work and how they are used in sailing. We got some more time to explore the island after we finished our classes and headed to the dock next to Gingerbreads. We walked around and went to the local fruit market and saw all there was to see. Sergeant Brother’s Model Boat shop was quite interesting as there were many models of sailing ships from all over the world. Back on the boat, we prepared Ocean Star to safely transport us to another island, and at ten at night, we departed for St. Lucia.
