Location: St. Pierre to Dominica
Today, we left France bright and early to sail to Dominica. Upon lifting the anchor, we snagged a large steel cable. After some crafty thinking, we freed ourselves and were underway. The lee of Martinique proved as deceiving as when we reached clear wind, it was quite a ride, and we were surfing along 8-10 ft swells reaching our way to Roseau. The crew is hardening as there were no booters this time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our friends in Dominica, including Pancho, Sea-Cat, and Derrik. Peter nailed the Med-style anchoring, and Nick and Katie rowed out the secondary old-school style. Great day.
