Location: St. Pierre to Dominica
Today we left France bright and early to sail to Dominica. Upon lifting anchor we had snagged a large steel cable. After some crafty thinking we freed ourselves and were underway. The lee of Martinique proved deceiving as when we reached clear wind it was quite a ride and we were surfing along 8-10 ft swells reaching our way to Roseau. The crew is hardening as there were no booters this time. Upon arrival we were greeted by our friends in Dominica to include Pancho, Sea-Cat and Derrik. Peter nailed the Med-style anchoring and Nick and Katie rowed out the secondary old-school style. Great day.
