After breakfast, we finished our last confined dive for our Open Water certifications – a great way to start off the day, and one step further to becoming certified divers! Following our open water dive, we set sail and took Ocean Star out into the Caribbean and into Gorda Sound, Virgin Gorda. On the way, we practiced a man overboard drill and learned how to raise the foresail. Upon arriving in the bay, we saw all the luxurious yachts and catamarans anchored around. We set up dinner, where my squeeze question for everyone was “Name something you’ve learned about someone here upon boarding Ocean Star. We all shared hilarious stories about the new people we’ve met here and what we know about them that strikes as out of the ordinary. It is great how well we already know each other and know that we will only get closer over the next 73 days. Now we are getting ready to go on our first night out on dry land, excited to feel ground on our feet for the first time in a week!
