‘ELLO LOVES, TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY! BY ALL ACCOUNTS
I personally really enjoyed the coffee I had on shore. A real French espresso! If you know me at all (which most of you probably don’t), I’m a bit of a coffee connoisseur (snob). So having the chance to sit and relax and have a coffee in the morning is something I always cherish.
While I had my coffee, I believe others got some croissants (France again). Then, pizza? Though they had to wait until noon. What did they do while they waited? I can tell you it was not their laundry (an option) or kayaking (another option). Today was a choose-your-own-adventure onshore day, and the overall chosen adventure was chill/play with no additional activities. Some potential options were getting laundry done with actual machines (a common request – though this time, un-taken), kayaking out to a cute little island with a picnic, or just hanging out and doing shore things – shopping, eating, napping on the beach. You know the drill.
As I said, the chosen activity – chilling on shore. Oui, French was spoken, frolicking was done, and our resident rap started. Kiki and Jack even worked on a music video (which should be out soon in all the places you stream your music videos).
Once back on board, we prepped the boat for passage. We’re getting quite good at this, feeling familiar with the various lines, terminology, and function of everything. This time, we were prepping for our passage to St. Barths – another overnight passage that we will start tomorrow.
We finished off the day with some delicious dinner (I don’t personally recall what it was, but there’s no doubt it was delicious) and squeeze (a fan favorite!). Until next time,
Au Revor, Shoshalla!!!!
P.s. Sorry, shady and giggles, your photos didn’t make the cut due to copyright laws: infringement and stuff. You hate to see it.
