Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today dawned bright and early for the crew of Ocean Star as they piled into the water for a 6:30 AM swim test. After a morning of orientation, we left the dock mid day for the trip to Savannah Bay. After a brief lunch, we began sail training, walking the crew through setting and striking the mainsail, foresail, and staysail and had a nice sail up to Savannah Bay where we anchored for the night. We dined on Sloppy Joe’s and salad and the crew had the chance to experience their first of many deck showers. Everyone is looking forward to learning to scuba dive tomorrow!
