Location: Gibraltar

We got into Gibraltar at around 11. After refueling the boat, Nick did some cool maneuvering out of the refueling station to get us to the area of the port where we were docking the boat. We had Gelato/Ice cream time after class. On our voyage, we saw Bioluminescent dolphins. We did a 14-day provision, which was pretty chaotic. We lost a bottle of hot sauce in the course of action. We capped off the day with a destination presentation for Gibraltar. Today was a much-needed break from all of the action-filled days we’ve had. Happy Birthday, Fish!

Hi all me again it is freaking Emily. again. Soooo just popping in to chat about some provisioning today. What was supposed to be only a small provision turned into 14 days’ worth of food for 30 people, more since the boys get seconds, thirds, fourths, and fifths. We went in blindly, thinking it would just be a little grocery store trip until Teagan and I saw that we needed to buy 100 bags of granola and 200 eggs, not to mention we were only able to take” 20″ percent of what was on the shelves (we took about 70), which made life a little bit difficult. We wrangled up all of our food, tetrised (?) it into a van for the poor taxi driver to drive 2 minutes to the boat, and then provisioned the entire galley, fridge, freezer, bilges, and the 10,000 cans of beans that live under my bed. Thankfully, we had the staff of watch team two, and Alexa and Amelia, who honestly made the trip much more exciting. Shoutout watch team two, the bird that was hiding under the sail this morning, the dolphins swimming on the bow, and Rachel. We miss you, Rachel. Please come back soon. Spicy uno is not the same.
