This morning the crew enjoyed egg and bacon bagels for breakfast. Next we headed off to the Seven Sisters Waterfall. We had a really cool guide named David and we also met his friend Super Butterfly Man. On the walk down to the waterfalls David showed us some local crops including Nutmeg, Pigeon Peas, and Cinnamon. At the falls Dan, Mike, Paul, Chris, Kate and Jamie all hiked up and jumped off all seven waterfalls, some even went back for seconds. After a nice walk back to the van we were dropped off at the beach where the annual Grenada Sailing Festival was taking place so we sat and had lunch watching the local work boats going through their paces for the races. Having a local lunch was eye-opening, eating fried fish and breadfruit was an interesting experience. Around 14:30 we caught the van back to the marina and spent the rest of the afternoon showering and playing in the water. During the day Dan had left some of his belonging lying about the boat so in order to be given them back he performed a unique apologetic rap in clothes we all had helped pick out for himit was incredible. Tonight we have an oceanography class planned before going to our bunks.
