Location: Deshaies, Guadeloupe
Today we woke up well before dawn in order to embark on our first dawn dive. As we swam below the surface around Pigeon island, the sun rose. Our 4:45am wake-up let to an extremely long, yet relaxing day. After a brief motor to Deshaies, some of us went to shore for coffee and lunch while others stayed back to practice climbing up the mast on Near Enough. Later came a celebratory dinner for Julia’s birthday, followed by passage preparation for our midnight departure to Antigua.
